Promotion of the French language through ecology - Reforestation operation - Educational activities - Evaluation mission among the fishing villagers of a peninsula of Betania in Morondava

In 2022, new schools have integrated into their program the method of learning French through ecology proposed by the association. 

Thus, nursery classes and primary classes took part in the environmental awareness poster competition. While secondary classes and high school students took part in the poetry competition on the theme: "water". The association offered the winners French dictionaries, school books, school supplies and "maillots de bleu".

Participation in reforestation and embellishment with flowers in the schoolyard have become a tradition. And the students are motivated and willing to participate in this green class.

Our volunteers ensure the weekly animation of the library founded by the association: reading, practical work, collective games, introduction to theater and computers. The association provided two laptops for the school. In addition, we are thinking about the feasibility of setting up a theater class and an introduction to computer science class.

We went to Morondava to assess the possible actions to be taken there. We were able to meet and discuss with the fishing villagers. And we didn't come with empty hands, we gave them little toys for the little ones, notebooks, pens and sweets for the children. We intend to return there and develop an educational project.

We would like to sincerely thank our team of volunteers on site who carry out our missions on site with few means. In addition, the students were able to exhibit their works in a public space in downtown Analakely to raise awareness and share with other schools. Our volunteer accompanied them for this outing.
